Samuhika Saraswati Puja for children. Goddess Saraswati is the Goddess of Wisdom and Learning. She is known as Vaag-Devi, the Goddess of speech and all divine sounds. Beginning on Saptami, the Supreme Mother is worshipped in the form of Mahasaraswathi during the final three nights of Navaratri. The Goddess, depicted holding the Vedas, the Veena and the Rosary, is known to destroy the demon of ignorance and grant us the supreme knowledge contained in the holy scriptures as well as mastery over various art forms.  Hence this day is considered extremely auspicious for Vidyarambham or Aksharabhyasam.
