Dharma – 101 – Year 1
Summary
- Number of classes – 25
- Duration of each class – 1.5 hours
- Language of instruction – English
- Classes will be approximately
- 50% practice,
- 25% theory/background, and
- 25% open discussion in Q & A format on all open topics
- Every class will include sUrya namaskara and at least 15 minutes of meditation
Requirements
- Student should be in middle school. However, classes will be at level accessible to 5th graders
- This program is open to both boys and girls
- Students should come to class on time. Late arrival will not be allowed (zero tolerance policy).
- Attire – traditional indian attire or pant and shirt.
- No shorts, short skirts, jeans pants, tanktops, etc.
Supplies
- A large notebook and pencil
- A vessel and a spoon (pañcapātra & uddharaṇi)
- Calculator on some days
- Supplies for learning how to do puja (as needed, class will supply some of them)

- Language of instruction – English
- Classes will be 50% practice 25% theory/background and 25% open discussion.
- Every class will include sUrya namaskara and at least 15 minutes of meditation
Requirements
- Completion of dharma 101 or equivalent
- Student should be in middle school (+ 9th grade)
- Open to both boys and girls
- Should come to class on time. Late arrival will not be allowed (zero tolerance policy).
- Attire – traditiona indian attire or pant and shirt. No shorts, short skirts, jean pants, tanktops, etc.

Schedule
Classes are offered every Saturday during the school year from 11.00AM – 12.30AM.

Registrations are closed for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.
