Goddess Saraswati – the goddess of learning, wisdom, knowledge, arts, and music – is said to have incarnated on Vasantha Panchami.

On Vasanta Panchami it is considered highly auspicious to perform Aksharabhyasam / Saamuhika Saraswati Puja for all children, irrespective of their birth star, at the temple along with their parents, under the guidance of the priests.At the temple, devotees can perform Saraswati puja and Aksharabhyasam with priest guidance.
